Phase 1- Anchor

In the Anchor phase, the focus is on building a robust foundation for the Nibiru network in the real world using distributed ledgers, EVM, and account systems as the core blockchain infrastructure based on the Multi Proof of Stake (MPoS) consensus protocol. This foundation will serve as a solid anchor for the interaction between the virtual and real worlds in the subsequent phases.

1. Mainnet Beta 
The Nibiru Mainnet Beta marks the official establishment of the Nibiru Network's anchor points in both the real and virtual worlds.

2. MPoS Consensus Protocol 
MPoS is one of the four core consensus protocols of the Nibiru network. It is the fundamental protocol that ensures the decentralization, reliability, and security of the network. MPoS guarantees the uniqueness and immutability of all data in the network, providing foundational support for on-chain and off-chain business.

3. Nibiruscan Block Explorer 
Nibiruscan is the platform for data query and analysis of the Nibiru blockchain. Users can intuitively and quickly query various data saved in the Nibiru distributed ledger, including block height, transactions, addresses, contracts, validating nodes, etc.

4. Nibiru Dual Token Model 
The mainnet token of the Nibiru network is NBN. Service providers earn NBN incentives by participating in the MPoS, PoF, PoC, and PoV protocols to provide services to the network, while consumers burn NBN to earn Credit to purchase services in the Nibiru network ecosystem.

5. Smart Contracts 
The Nibiru Network is a layer-1 public blockchain. It provides powerful smart contract functionality and is fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). It supports Ethereum tools and decentralized applications (dapps). This makes it easy for developers to migrate/deploy their projects from Ethereum. Users can enjoy the same dapp experience as Ethereum but at a much lower cost.

6. MPoS Delegation 
The MPoS protocol opens delegation staking to all validator nodes, allowing all token holders to vote and participate in consensus without running nodes. This allows more people to participate in the operation and maintenance of the network alongside validator nodes, while protecting the security of the network and sharing protocol rewards.

In the Anchor phase, the Nibiru network is established using distributed ledgers, EVM, and account systems with the Multi Proof of Stake (MPoS) consensus protocol. This foundation serves as an anchor that connects the virtual and real worlds in later phases.

Nibiru Roadmap

Overview

The key feature of Nibiru Network is the provision of a secure, open, high-speed, co-constructed, and shared decentralized IP layer network based on the SDN/SDVN networking technology. The network provides an open and closed-loop economic ecosystem where users can benefit from each other's services. Resource providers are responsible for maintaining system stability across the blockchain layer, IP network service layer, storage service layer, and Web3 application layer, and offering a variety of services in the real-world application market.

Nibiru Network Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) that consists of a layer one public blockchain with robust smart contract capabilities that are fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This compatibility allows developers to migrate or deploy their projects from Ethereum, offering users the same DAPP experience at a lower cost.

To achieve this vision,  the development of the network is divided into four stages to ensure steady progress and the ultimate achievement of the final goal.


Phase 2 - Pulse

After establishing the MPoS blockchain Anchor points that link the real and virtual worlds, the Proof of Flow (PoF) consensus protocol for mapping business and assets between the real and virtual worlds will be launched.

The goal of the PoF protocol is to build an economic incentive model that simplifies the diverse business values in the real world into SDVN virtual network traffic as the only quantifiable indicator. This model consists of consumers, service providers, and network traffic, resulting in verified services being converted into NBN incentives through protocol consensus. These "pulses" stimulate interaction and cooperation among participants and drives the vitality of the Nibiru Network.

1. PoF: Proof of Flow 
The PoF consensus protocol is used to verify the flow of assets and data traffic in the network. PoF is a mechanism that maps real-world services to network traffic and converts verified traffic into on-chain rewards.

2. PoF Mining Program 
The PoF mining program is deployed in the PoF nodes of service providers, which retrieves traffic data from the SDVN virtual network and packages it as a proof signed by both the service provider and consumer. The proof is then submitted to the PoF protocol. The PoF mining program helps PoF service providers complete the entire process of joining, staking, working, signing, and on-chain submission, providing a one-stop user experience.

3. Nibiruscan Block Explorer 
Nibiruscan will be updated with various tools that can quickly interact with the PoF protocol, including PoF protocol-related data queries, PoF node management, and related API interfaces.

4. Products that support PoF 
By supporting both SDVN technology and PoF protocol in software and hardware products, users can not only easily access the products in their daily lives but also provide services to earn encrypted economic benefits from the Nibiru Network.

In the Pulse phase, the Proof of Flow (PoF) protocol aims to create an economic model that converts real-world business values into SDVN virtual network traffic. This model includes consumers, resource providers, and network traffic. Services are rewarded with NBN incentives through protocol consensus.

Phase 3 - Stellar

In the Pulse phase, the launch of the PoF protocol solved the problem of how real-world business can be reflected in the virtual world through verifiable proofs and created a high-speed value communication network based on SDVN technology for data flow. In the Stellar phase, the focus will be on providing fully decentralized storage, trading, and execution markets for massive amounts of information and resources.

In the Stellar phase, the Proof of Capacity (PoC) protocol will be implemented in the Nibiru network. It is an infrastructure that converts various real-world data into digital assets in the virtual world, covering a distributed storage model of the entire life cycle of data creation, storage, modification, ownership, and execution. This infrastructure realizes the definition of data in Web3: read, write, and own.

On the infrastructure built by the PoC protocol, users can create, own, share, execute, and trade their data assets on the Nibiru Network, enjoying full rights to their data. PoC provides transparency guarantees for the entire life cycle of data ownership and processing.

Considering the implementation period of distributed storage projects, it is not expected that all goals will be fully achieved in one phase. Therefore, in the Stellar phase, the focus of the PoC protocol will be to solve the problem of distributed storage of data, forming an interstellar data warehouse to provide efficient and stable foundations for subsequent data execution and transactions.

1. PoC Protocol 
The purpose of the PoC protocol is to verify the effective storage workload through consensus and provide positive incentives for service providers. In the PoC protocol, time-space proof and service contracts are two core components. Time-space proof ensures the validity of service providers' storage capacity and data content, while service contracts provide code-level service commitments for data between Storage Providers and Renters. Ultimately, users will be able to automatically, transparently, and privately, extract the value of data under the PoC protocol. In the Stellar phase, the focus of the PoC protocol will be on solving the storage problem through time-space proofs.

2. Nibiruscan Block Explorer 
Nibiruscan will be updated with tools to interact with the PoC protocol, including data queries, PoC node management, storage markets, and related API interfaces.

3. Storage Market (Beta) 
The storage market will be launched to provide a single portal for Storage Providers to offer storage, and for users to choose suitable Storage Providers according to their data storage needs to store their data in the Nibiru Network.

4. Nibiru Network Layer 2 solution 
Layer 2 has proven its value in scaling performance on Ethereum. Before blockchain sharding technology truly arrives, layer 2 is the most effective solution for improving transactions per second (TPS) while balancing the security, scalability and decentralization.  A layer 2 solution for PoC and PoF protocols will be launched, which will transfer many transactions related to these two protocols to layer 2 execution to improve processing speed, avoid congestion on layer 1, while security is still guaranteed by the MPoS layer 1 of the Nibiru Network.

5. PoC Stake 
Open delegation and pledge capabilities for PoC protocol service providers will be launched, encouraging more token holders to participate in protocol construction, jointly maintain the security of the protocol, and share the returns of the protocol.

Phase 4 - Lumen

MPoS, PoF, PoC, and PoV have built a decentralized communication network and storage infrastructure for Nibiru Network that connects the real and virtual worlds. Activities in the real world are mapped to economic incentives in the virtual world through consensus protocols, and vice versa. When this infrastructure is effectively validated and proven to be usable, we will enter the fourth phase of the Nibiru Network: Lumen (the light network). In the Lumen phase, we will focus on two things: 

PoF 2.0, maximizing the value of data assets through their trading and execution.

The construction of a resource computing power market, based on PoF, and the complete version of PoC, enabling participants to share and earn rewards for compute power.

Ultimately, the transfer of data and value on Nibiru Network will be experienced at the speed of light. In the Web3 era, the interaction and expansion between the virtual and real worlds will become faster and more convenient than ever before.

1. PoC 2.0: 
PoC 2.0 will launch, enabling data transactions and usage protection based on "contracts." activating the value creation of data assets and related economies, rather than just data storage. "Service contracts" are voluntarily signed between Service Providers and Consumers, specifying the specific content of services (such as authorizing data for third-party use), time limits, etc., with both parties’ rights and responsibilities are restricted by code. Combined with the stream payment mode, data owners can automatically, privately, and transparently extract the value from their data.

2. Resource Power Market: 
Resource Power Market is a new decentralized application market. It will facilitate Service Providers to release their resources as commodities in the market and facilitate users to interact with resources in the PoC and PoF protocols.

3. Stream Payment: 
Stream payment mode is a "programmable" payment mode, which is very suitable for users to pay for their continuous resource usage of the Nibiru Network. Users can establish and terminate on-demand, time-based payment contracts with Service Providers for resources (such as storage space, traffic, data usage, etc.) according to their preferences and needs. With stream payment, consumers do not need to prepay for the entire contract period but can ensure the availability of services by prepaying a partial amount and continuously adding to it. This protects consumers' interests while also regulating and incentivizing service providers to improve their service quality.

4. Smart Contract Plus: 
This is a smart contract that combines multiple modes of resource transactions (not limited to data), time limits, stream payments, etc., and provides reliable protection for business transactions between buyers and sellers in PoC 2.0 and resource markets.

Anchor Scope
