Phase 3 - Stellar

Overview 

In the Pulse phase, the launch of the PoF protocol solved the problem of how real-world business can be reflected in the virtual world through verifiable proofs and created a high-speed value communication network based on SDVN technology for data flow. In the Stellar phase, the focus will be on providing fully decentralized storage, trading, and execution markets for massive amounts of information and resources.

In the Stellar phase, the Proof of Capacity (PoC) protocol will be implemented in the Nibiru network. It is an infrastructure that converts various real-world data into digital assets in the virtual world, covering a distributed storage model of the entire life cycle of data creation, storage, modification, ownership, and execution. This infrastructure realizes the definition of data in Web3: read, write, and own.

On the infrastructure built by the PoC protocol, users can create, own, share, execute, and trade their data assets on the Nibiru Network, enjoying full rights to their data. PoC provides transparency guarantees for the entire life cycle of data ownership and processing.

Considering the implementation period of distributed storage projects, it is not expected that all goals will be fully achieved in one phase. Therefore, in the Stellar phase, the focus of the PoC protocol will be to solve the problem of distributed storage of data, forming an interstellar data warehouse to provide efficient and stable foundations for subsequent data execution and transactions.

Work Scope

  1. 1. PoC Protocol 
    The purpose of the PoC protocol is to verify the effective storage workload through consensus and provide positive incentives for service providers. In the PoC protocol, time-space proof and service contracts are two core components. Time-space proof ensures the validity of service providers' storage capacity and data content, while service contracts provide code-level service commitments for data between Storage Providers and Renters. Ultimately, users will be able to automatically, transparently, and privately, extract the value of data under the PoC protocol. In the Stellar phase, the focus of the PoC protocol will be on solving the storage problem through time-space proofs.
  2. 2. Nibiruscan Block Explorer 
    Nibiruscan will be updated with tools to interact with the PoC protocol, including data queries, PoC node management, storage markets, and related API interfaces.
  3. 3. Storage Market (Beta) 
    The storage market will be launched to provide a single portal for Storage Providers to offer storage, and for users to choose suitable Storage Providers according to their data storage needs to store their data in the Nibiru Network.
  4. 4. Nibiru Network Layer 2 solution 
    Layer 2 has proven its value in scaling performance on Ethereum. Before blockchain sharding technology truly arrives, layer 2 is the most effective solution for improving transactions per second (TPS) while balancing the security, scalability and decentralization. A layer 2 solution for PoC and PoF protocols will be launched, which will transfer many transactions related to these two protocols to layer 2 execution to improve processing speed, avoid congestion on layer 1, while security is still guaranteed by the MPoS layer 1 of the Nibiru Network.
  5. 5. PoC Stake 
    Open delegation and pledge capabilities for PoC protocol service providers will be launched, encouraging more token holders to participate in protocol construction, jointly maintain the security of the protocol, and share the returns of the protocol.
